You can absolutely do it your way, no stress, no pressure, wear pyjamas if you wish, or go with a Guardians of the Galaxy theme! How would you really like your ceremony to be? If you elope, you can make it happen. Give yourselves time and space as you pledge your vows or promises. Allow yourselves the freedom to fully open your hearts to each other, as you feel, in the moment. No judgement.

It gives me huge pleasure to combine my love of festivals, especially Green Gathering (GG), and my celebrant skills, by working with the GG team to make myself available for ceremonies during the festival in 2026!
If you have been, you will know that it is a wonderful family festival, set in the stunning Monmouthshire landscape on the edge of Chepstow. GG has pioneered green principles since its inception and continues to lead the way, 100% powered by green energy, truly ‘Off Grid ’. When you enjoy GG you not only dance, laugh and wonder at the entertainment, but you also immerse yourself learning new ways to change your own life towards a brighter, greener future. So neatly coined by GG, “Put the world to rights – and then dance all night!” The place for ceremonies has naturally landed in the Standing Stone Grove ~ a place blessed with proposals, a chosen site for the ashes of loved ones, a place stilled with magic. A quiet place for connection and reflection, surrounded by native fruit and nut trees, planted and cared for by GG volunteers.
How to explain my love of festivals? I have a deep respect for what festivals achieve. Enabling deep connections and shifts of perspectives, towards purposeful, positive change. Reconnecting people to themselves and each other, shaking us from normality, allowing love to shine.
On the subject of love ………
If you wish to have your wedding ceremony surrounded by people but without the pressure and expense of organising and hosting a gathering, then what better place to elope than GG, with its joyous people, days full of inspiration, organic food & beverages, stunning views, beautiful music, fireside gathers, frolicking nights with riotous entertainment! The first weekend of August is the time of the fire festival, Lammas, traditionally chosen by couples, to make their union public.

You will need GG Tickets, the festival wishes you joy for your ceremony, but please do follow GG festival goers’ etiquette and rules.
Remember it’s a festival ~ anything can happen! There is a chance that something unplanned may occur during your ceremony! I will work with whatever situation arises, but am unable to predict what the festival may give us!

We could meet at the Standing Stone Grove for a chat. I’d be fascinated to hear your love story, how you met, what’s brought you to this time of celebration, what your future plans are….
I’ll ask what you’d like to say to each other, I can help with vows/promises if you are unsure.
Would you like to include your favourite shot, a handfast or jump over a broom, or other ritual. Handfasting? Bring your own ribbons/cord, 1m length, or purchase some for £5.
When ready, we will perform your ceremony, and you’ll be away to celebrate!
In return, I ask for a small donation, suggested donations on a sliding scale of what you feel able to afford, £30, £60, £100, or anything in between and above! 10%, goes directly to GG, for future years of pioneering sustainable best practice.
2.You contact me in advance, and we can chat by phone or Zoom, to discuss in more detail what your ideal festival wedding looks like. I’ll write a draft ceremony script, so that you can be sure you like it. For this professional celebrant service, I charge £300, (25% to GG), paid on agreement of the booking.
