The Process: How We Work Together
Once you've been in touch, we arrange a free chat to meet and get a feel for each other. If we're a good fit, it's wonderfully straightforward from there.
You'll complete a ceremony planning guide and a short questionnaire about your love story: how you met, when you knew, the future you're building together. I write your script and we refine it until it's perfect. A WhatsApp group keeps ideas flowing easily if you'd like that.
Payment is half on booking and the remainder on receipt of your first draft, usually around six months before the day. On the day, I arrive early, connect with your team and make sure everything is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Handfasting
One of the oldest wedding rituals: you are bound together with ribbons of colour, each representing a promise you make to each other. A genuinely moving addition to any ceremony.

A joyful symbolic act rooted in Celtic folk tradition and African Heritage, full of energy and fun!

Tree Planting
A living symbol of your marriage that grows alongside you. Beautiful for outdoor ceremonies.

Fire Torch Ceremony
I'm a trained fire poi performer, and a fire torch ceremony at the right moment is absolutely spectacular. It transforms any outdoor ceremony into something truly unforgettable.

Grounding and Heart Opening
Moments of stillness and connection for you and your guests, to fully arrive in the moment together. I incorporate the elements of nature to help everyone feel connected to the earth and to each other.

Multicultural and Spiritual Elements
If there are traditions from your culture or heritage that you'd like to include, bring them. I have a deep respect for all traditions and love creating ceremonies that honour where people come from.

I've had a life full of listening, performing and bringing people together. Years working with vulnerable adults taught me how to hold a room with genuine care. Fire poi taught me presence. A degree in Comparative Religions gave me a deep respect for all traditions. And a lifelong love of people's stories means I genuinely can't wait to hear yours.
My ceremonies are fully inclusive. I celebrate all couples, all identities, all backgrounds and all family structures. Whether your guest list spans many faiths, no faith, blended families or neurodiverse guests, everyone will feel welcomed and held.

How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can. Summer dates in particular fill quickly, and booking early means we can start the creative work together without any pressure. That said, I'll always do my best if you're working to a shorter timeline, so please do get in touch.

What's the payment process?
Half the fee is due on booking to secure your date. The remaining half is due on receipt of your first ceremony draft, usually around six months before the event.

Do you travel outside Wales?
Yes. I cover the whole of the UK and I'm happy to travel abroad. I love all the rural and remote corners of this country, from Cornwall to Scotland, and I'm always excited by a destination ceremony. Travel costs over 30 miles from SA34 are 50p per mile, and accommodation may apply for longer distances. My campervan can be a wonderful option.

What happens at the first meeting?
We arrange a free, no-obligation chat (video call or in-person) to get to know each other, talk through your vision and see if we're a good fit. There's no pressure and no commitment. I genuinely love meeting people and hearing their stories.

How does the ceremony script get written?
After you've booked, I'll send you a ceremony planning guide and a short questionnaire about your story. You fill it in, we have a follow-up conversation and from there I write your script. You'll receive a draft to review and approve, and we'll refine it together until it's exactly right.

Can we stay in touch throughout the process?
Absolutely. I'm happy to create a WhatsApp group so we can share ideas freely and keep communication easy and fun all the way through.

What happens on the day?
I arrive early, connect with your venue team, photographer and any other contributors, and make sure everything is ready and as stress-free as possible for you. I'll be present, focused and calm so you can simply enjoy every single moment.

Can you accommodate guests with accessibility needs or neurodiverse guests?
Yes I'll always work with you to ensure your ceremony works for everyone attending. If there are specific needs to consider, please mention them early and we'll find the right approach together.

This is very much where I thrive. My background in Comparative Religions means I have genuine respect for all traditions, and I love weaving elements from different cultures together thoughtfully and beautifully.
